YouTube videos taking to long to load? Did you know that you can play “snake” while you wait?
If you get bored while waiting for some of the newer YouTube videos to load, press any of the arrow buttons and a game of snake will begin. You can even continue playing as the video plays! (It’s harder to see when the video’s playing though)
I wish that when I was younger I could have met my current self. We would have sat down at a coffee shop so that I could explain life to young me in terms that only we would understand. It would have saved me a lot of hardship.
You can listen to all the sage wisdom you want, but things only make…
There’s a level of travel that you can achieve wherein you almost cease to exist as you have been known to yourself. I don’t mean it as in a feeling of meaningless, or emptiness, but a sort of new kind of existence takes place. You become just particles in motion, closer in frequency to a ghost or…
My sister Lisa, forwarded this to me via email. Hope you guys can support this event for Miko.
(Personally, Miko’s father, Dr. Luis Habana, is very dear to my family because he took care of papa during his bypass surgery a few years back.)
On May 16, 2010, numerous people from all walks of life will come together at the Ateneo High School grounds to support a young athlete named Julian Miguel “Miko” Habana.
One month ago, Miko Habana, a sixteen year old boy, suddenly collapsed due to cardiac arrest while warming up for a baseball practice at the Manila Polo Club. Although he was immediately resuscitated, he continues to require intensive medical and nursing care. He will also need comprehensive rehabilitation to assist in his full recovery.
Miko has been into baseball since he was 9 years old. He has played for the Ateneo High School and the International Little League Association of Manila (ILLAM) where he serves as captain for both teams. He has also represented the country in many regional and international tournaments including three World Series events as a member of the Philippine Junior and Senior Little League Teams. It is heartwarming to note the extraordinary number of people who have been praying for Miko’s healing and for his family’s strength. We, his relatives and close friends, have organized a fundraising walk / run to help cover the cost of his medical and rehabilitation care.
In this light, we would like to invite you to join us, his family and friends, co-athletes, classmates and teachers, to participate in this event:

I’m not sure if it’s a function of advancing age or just the times we’re living in, but it’s almost impossible for me to find complete external validation in any one thought, desire, instinct or vision anymore.
Who do you want to be exactly like? Is there anybody in this world who’s laid down a…
We are excited to announce shows for the first time ever in the Philippines and Spain! Ticketing information will be announced as it is available on the TOUR page.
“We live in a country that seems to be in this massive state of delusion, where the idea of what you are is more important than you actually being that. And it actually works as long as everybody’s winking at the same time. And then if one person stops winking, you just beat the crap out of that person and then they either start winking or they go somewhere else.”—Branford Marsalis
APO is winding down. We, (Jim, Danny and Boboy) announced that we have decided to stop performing, recording and singing together.
We are doing our last Valentines show this Feb 13 at SMX in Mall of Asia. We still have other concerts to do before and after Valentines but only until end of May. If you can, do catch the last few shows we will be doing abroad and around the Philippines. The Last Shows will be at the end of May probably in a small venue. Right now, we don’t want the stress of a big show and may do a few small ones instead. We want to enjoy it till the end. More on this soon.
The next few months will be our last opportunities to perform for you. I hope you can catch one of our shows because we really enjoy surprising and delighting you. We promise they will be the best shows ever.
